TIPS FOR THE GARLIC BUTTER SHRIMP AND BROCCOLI RECIPE
- If you purchase shrimp (or prawns) that have already been cleaned, shelled, and deveined, you may easily create this recipe. Purchase as many wild-caught shrimp as you can. For this recipe, we like to use large 16/20 size shrimp.
- Shrimp can be cooked with or without their tails. Typically, when we prepare shrimp, we leave the tails on. It makes a lovely display and adds more flavor.
- When preparing broccoli florets, you can save time by blanching them for two minutes in boiling water and then soaking them in freezing water to stop the cooking process. After that, sauté the broccoli according to the recipe. Your broccoli will get crisp-tender more quickly.
- Chop the broccoli into uniform-sized chunks so that they cook evenly.
CAN WE USE FROZEN SHRIMP FOR THIS RECIPE?
Frozen shrimp is okay for this recipe, but fresh wild-caught shrimp tends to have better flavor.

You can keep the garlic butter shrimp and broccoli leftovers for 2 or 3 days in an airtight container stored in the refrigerator. To reheat, transfer toa skillet and reheat gently with a tablespoon or two of water to loosen the sauce. You can also use your microwave.
