Combine zucchini and yellow squash to add additional colour to the stew!
A teaspoon of instant chicken stock can be used to improve the taste of the cooked vegetables.
WHAT TO SERVE WITH BAKED ZUCCHINI AND CHEESE
Almost any family meal goes well with this baked zucchini dish. Serve the cheesy zucchini dish with salmon, shrimp, steak or grilled chicken. It’s very adaptable and consistently popular!
HOW TO AVOID BAKED ZUCCHINI FROM GETTING SOGGY?
Because zucchini contains a lot of water, it may lose a lot of extra water during baking, leaving your baked zucchini looking mushy. If you have more time, you can avoid soggy zucchini by doing this: After lightly seasoning the zucchini on all sides, arrange it on a large sheet of paper towels. After letting the chopped zucchini set for fifteen minutes, turn them over and give them another fifteen minutes to rest. You’ll be able to observe how much water the zucchini release and how much the paper towel absorbs! Never add salt to the recipe after it’s been prepared.
Alternatively, before mixing the zucchini with the other ingredients, sauté it in a skillet with a little olive oil.
HOW TO KEEP THE BAKED ZUCCHINI AND CHEESE LEFTOVERS
Store this cheesy zucchini bake in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to two days. Use a microwave or oven to reheat. Because courgette retains a lot of water even after cooking and releases a lot of it when thawed, freezing is not advised.
