Enjoy the taste of Breakfast with these bacon and egg cups baked right in the oven.

You can always add some cooked vegetables to the bottom of the cup before adding the egg on top. Saute some zucchini, mushrooms, or onions in a skillet with some butter first before cooking the eggs in the oven.

Ingredients Needed for  Bacon and Egg Cups

  • Eggs  –  The best type of eggs you can buy at the store are organic or free-range eggs, while others may prefer eggs from specific breeds of chickens.
  • Bacon – Depending on how thick your bacon is the time it takes to cook the breakfast cups might vary. I find the thin cut bacon cooks more evenly around the pan.
  • Cheese  – Use any type of cheese you like. Cheddar, Colby Jack, or Pepper jack would be good (optional)
  • Salt and Pepper  –  to taste
  • See the recipe card below for a full list of ingredients and measurements.

Garnish the eggs with fresh herbs like chopped parsley or chives

Air Fryer Instructions for Bacon and Egg Cups

If you wish to cook these in an air fryer, find silicon molds that will fit the bottom of your air fryer. They come in single molds or in molds of 4. Place all the bacon and eggs in a mold then gently lift them into the air fryer basket. Air fry for 330 for 10 minutes. You don’t want the temperature too high or else the eggs will burn on top.

I have two air fryers. The Cosori 4 Qt Air Fryer and Ninja Woodfire Grill which is an outdoor air fryer. It’s pretty awesome! It has 5 different functions on it.

How do I store leftovers?

Always store leftovers in clean, food-grade containers. The type of container doesn’t really matter. Use zip lock, glass, plastic, whatever! Make sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container.

Best Air Fryer Tips!

  1. Preheating ensures that the fries cook evenly and achieve the desired crispiness.
  2. Avoid Overcrowding: Cooking in smaller batches will help the fries cook more evenly and get crispier.
  3. Shaking the Basket: Shaking the basket halfway through cooking helps ensure that all the fries cook evenly.
  4. Experiment with Seasonings: Feel free to experiment with different seasonings like garlic powder, paprika, or Cajun spice to add an extra kick to your fries.
